Lex, or as her pestering ranch mate calls her, Lexi-Lou, is a retired rodeo queen who’s got nothing better to do than care for her beloved horses. After a serious injury, however, she’s taken time off from the sport to enjoy life as a stable hand and really appreciate what life has to offer.

Gentle breeze, warm sun, and beautiful rides around the property are what makes all the hard work worth it—now if she could just get the damn skeleton she’s been bothered to work with to leave her to some peace once and a while, she’d call it all perfect.

Well, even until then, she’d manage herself and the ranch alongside the others for now. Though, the horses were her side of the fence; she’d rather not have one of the boys try to handle her rather temperamental Clydesdale, Cooper.

Don't think about how his kisses don't match him, how soft and slow the kisses are, how he can't keep his hands off of you.

Don't think about how some of his kisses could contain some of his magic or dirt, how he would blush and apologize, cleaning your lips. Clearly don't think how a dork he is, how he uses his tongue to clean them.

Don't think about how everytime he sees you while working, how he would pick you up and spin you around before kissing you intensely. Don't think about it.

What exactly is the cult about? I read that some crazy humans were dusting monsters to then ingest the dust.

Do they have any relation with the ex-monster slave owners?

Oooo alright the cult! Let’s do this!

One big issue that arrived with ebott was the creation of the dust cult! This cult of both human and monster members are the ones who started the underground monster and human trafficking trade in ebott as well as passing around a drug called “pixie dust”

The dust cult believes that the way to achieve pure enlightenment is through raising one’s LV. You can do this through killing, but they’ve also found that a refined drug made through the dust of monsters seems to medically raise LV even faster than violence can. Of course murder is still involved to make it, but that’s besides the point.

No one really knows who started the cult, but among the few leaders that had been captured, one was a mafia leader(monster) from the factory au, one was a scientist(mage) from the fallout au and one (human) was in fact a previous slave owner from farmfell. They couldn’t get much out of the three, but they do know this cult is thinly spread across AUs.

Things specific to any farm au

In farmtale, they care for more plants then animals, and have coexisted with humans for generations. So a lot of farmtale monsters are mix breed, mages, or have human family

In farmfell, theres a lot more ranches(more animals than in farms). Monsters from farmfell actually used to travel a lot a long time ago, and were mostly merchants with stands.

After a while they got popular with more richer people and monsters before they got to where they are today, so a lot of farmfell monsters have either rich or nomad ancestry. A lot of factorys and food businesses are actually owned by farmfell monsters

Personality: A very lovely and helpful skeleton. He is quiet and composed. He is also physically quite strong. He is amusing, lively, and quite gentle. He enjoys jokes and helps out on the farm. He works hard, but he also knows when to unwind. He assists where he can, is very knowledgeable about plants and soil, and understands everything and anything there is to know about flowers and crops. He is a gentleman who is also very kind-hearted and loves animals. He has a skill of holding a lot of things and he is also very fast.

Appearance: He has soft gentle teal eye lights. He has freckles. He wears a straw hat.

Elm - Farmtale Papyrus

Personality: He's a cheerful and endearing skeleton. He is self-assured and powerful. He is intelligent and knows what he is talking about. He takes farming very seriously. He assists others whenever possible and is not scared to lend a helping hand to others. He adores the farm, and while he is not as skilled at farming as his older brother, he takes special care of the exterior and the housing. He is an expert at carpentry, painting, and woodworking. He is also tremendously strong. He is good with an axe. He is also very fast on his feet.

Appearance: He has a gentle olive eye. He has freckles and a scar on his cheek. It's very small. He has a red bandana around his neck.

Ridge - Farmfell Sans

Personality: He's a tough but lovely guy. He is no-nonsense, stern, and straightforward. He never backs down from a verbal altercation and knows how to fight. He is assertive, flirtatious, and protective. He enjoys having fun, but not too much fun. He is quite intelligent and is well-versed in farming and ranching. He can teach someone about farming. He is extremely powerful and can benchpress a large number of trees. He's a bit prickly, but he relaxes with those who don't mean him any harm. He is a bit of a show-off as well.

Appearance: He has deep red eye lights. He has freckles. He has a golden tooth and a scar on his left eye.

Spruce - Farmfell Papyrus

Personality: He's a courageous but prickly skeleton. He snaps and is ferocious. He isn't scared to verbally demolish someone. He is very protective of his farm and family. He might be a bit of a flirt, but he is a strong individual. He can be very rigid and harsh, but after he gets used to someone's presence, he relaxes. Once you get to know him, he is a gentleman. He never shows too much contempt to anyone. He is extremely powerful and adept at animal wrangling. He is very strong and can bench press a whole moose if he wanted to, but he doesn't.

Appearance: He has bright red eye lights. He has a scar on his left eye that is very big and splintering at the edges. He has freckles and a red bandana around his neck.

Roan - Farmswap Sans

Personality: He is a joyful and cheery skeleton. He is quite powerful and assists where he can. He's a tough guy who can help you carry things. He enjoys his job and is not afraid to assist others who are in need. He is courageous and astute. He is incredibly knowledgable on a wide range of topics. He is quite calm under pressure and adores hens. He is both charming and astute. He knows how to help folks when he can and isn't hesitant to do so. He knows how to assist and always solves difficulties swiftly.

Appearance: He has bright teal eye lights. He has a small scar on his left eye. He has freckles. He has a bandana around his neck.

Lark - Farmswap Papyrus

Personality: He's a laid-back, prankster skeleton. He is quite strong and can lift some very large objects. He is a witty and astute skeleton. He understands that in the end, it is all about plants, animals, and trees. He enjoys playing practical jokes. He gets a little chuckle out of the reactions. He is really lovely and understanding, although he has a filthy tongue and is quite agitated, which he manages well. He enjoys assisting others and, like his brother, is quite intelligent in this regard. His love to help others tends to help motivate him on the farm.

Appearance: He is a skeleton monster with olive eye lights. He has a small scar on his right eye that is diagonal. He has freckles.

A have a few questions about Chief and Bronco, if that’s okay ❤️

What’s their relationship like? Do they get along pretty well? Are they distant?

What are their hobbies?

And… this last one is a lil self indulgent admittedly, but would they let their partner paint their claws? Or is that not their style?

What’s their relationship like?

Complicated, is probably the best way to describe it.

These 2 will absolutely fight like cats at the drop of a hat. But if someone else even vaguely threatens either brother, they'd best be prepared for the other one to immediately jump to their bro's defence. Even Undyne gets a snarl from Chief if she badmouths Bronco.

The truth is, neither brother would know what to do without the other. They've been together their whole lives. Going their separate ways doesn't even enter their minds, even when they're having a full blown yelling match. Their arguments may rumble on for several days, but they'll inevitably reach the point where both will just silently agree to drop it.

One day they can't be in the same room as each other, and the next one just casually strolls up and helps the other with his work as if nothing happened.

What are their hobbies?

You don't get much time for hobbies when you've got a whole ranch to care for, day in and day out.

That said, Bronco loves to whittle while he's waiting around for something, like the blacksmith to finish shoeing his horse or Chief to decide what to order at Grillby's tavern. Bronco has a whittling knife that he carries with him everywhere, and he's always picking up odd sticks and lumps of wood he sees lying around to carve later. His GSD, Bingo, is good at finding sticks for him.

Most of the time he just mindlessly whittles them down into spikes, but occasionally he'll get a burst of inspiration and carve them into a shape, like a bird or a cactus. His figures are crude, but recognisable.

When Chief is not on the ranch, he's helping out Sheriff Undyne with enforcing the law around town. It's mostly just an excuse to posture, and it makes him feel powerful when lowlifes shrink as he walks by.

On quiet nights, Chief can be found out behind the barn practicing his aim. Monsters have their own bullets, so they've got no need for guns. But Chief appreciates the look and feel of firearms, and being able to master sharp shooting without the use of his magic is a source of pride for him.

Bronco is too lazy to learn how to shoot a gun.

Would they let their partner paint their claws?

Depends.

Chief will only let you if the two of you are very close - if you ask early in the relationship, he'll squawk at you and refuse outright. But if you've reached the stage where he's opening up and letting himself be emotionally vulnerable around you, he'll be much easier to convince. As you paint away, he'll find, to his surprise, that it's actually very relaxing, and he'll come to love the soft touch of your fingers as you gently manoeuvre his hands to paint his claws evenly.

The claws are for your eyes only, though. He'll wear his gloves over them at all other times, even around the house (can't let Bronco see he's gone soft...).

As for Bronco, he genuinely doesn't care. If his SO wants to paint his claws while the two of you are lounging around together at the end of a long day, then sure, go for it. Good luck getting him to wait for them to dry, though. He never means to, but the moment you're finished he'll absentmindedly scratch or brush his hands against the table/couch/whatever and ruin the polish.

Oh well, the experience was fun, at least.

Both brothers are very strict about the colours, though: it'll have to be red or black or gold. Chief favours the blood red polish, while Bronco loves the metallic gold.

Don't think about how he just loves picking you up while kissing you, how out of nowhere he would start tickling you just to make you laugh and look at you, hopelessly devoted.

Don't think about how he tries his best to wipe off his sweat so you don't kiss him all sweaty, how sadly you feel that salty taste from it. Clearly don't think about how he would kiss you more intensely from how he missed you.

Don't think about how when he's busy and can't go with you, he would blow kisses at you at the distance, how he would just jump at you for attention when he's home.
